[Saba Sports News] Kiyan Anthony’s stock continues to rise.
Kiyan, the 17-year-old son of retired NBA star Carmelo Anthony, earned a significant honor this week as ESPN named him the No. 1 recruit in New York for the class of 2025.
A consensus four-star recruit, Kiyan is set to enter his senior season at Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y. Standing at 6-foot-5, the shooting guard (potentially still growing, as his father Carmelo was 6-foot-7) recently made headlines with an incredibly efficient 40-point game during the summer basketball circuit.
New York has long been known as a top region for young basketball talent, making Kiyan’s achievement all the more impressive. As for his college plans, Kiyan has narrowed his list to six notable schools.
