Sports News] According to reports from the English media, a sculpture dedicated
to former Premier League Tottenham Hotpur star Harry Kane was constructed a few
years ago in his hometown as a tribute to his achievements and to bring honor
to the locality and the country. However, an unexpected turn of events occurred
as the completed statue has been kept in a warehouse. It is revealed that Kane
spent his childhood near Waltham Forest in northeast London. Five years ago,
the local council allocated £7,200 to create a life-size statue of Kane.
Originally, they intended to place the statue near the Chingford Overground tube
station. However, due to failed safety assessments, the statue has remained
stored in a warehouse. Kane’s representative released a statement expressing
their eagerness for the unveiling of the sculpture, expressing excitement and
hoping to find a suitable location for it in the coming months. They believe
that Kane deserves this honor. Kane has been a player for Tottenham since 2011
and has spent 12 seasons with the club as of July 2023. During this period, he
has developed into a world-class forward, achieving numerous goals and earning
various accolades.
