[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Juventus may prohibit away fans from Napoli from attending their Serie A match at home. In Round 5 of Serie A, Juventus will host Napoli. Currently, both teams are ranked fourth and second in the Serie A standings, making this match highly anticipated. Originally, 2,300 tickets were planned to be made available for Napoli fans. However, reports indicate that due to safety reasons, the away fan section at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium may be closed. Juventus and Napoli fans have historically been fierce rivals, and in the previous round of Serie A, Napoli fans clashed with Cagliari fans during an away match, leading to a temporary suspension of the game. The Italian Sports Events Safety Analysis Committee (Casms) is currently evaluating this match and is expected to make a decision later on whether to ban away fans from attending. Given the intense rivalry between the clubs that has led to incidents of conflict, banning Napoli fans from attending Juventus’ home match is also a necessary measure for public safety and the safety of both sets of fans.
