magazine “Forbes” has revealed the results of its latest survey,
which indicate that Liberty Media, the owner of Formula 1 (F1), is considered
the most valuable sports empire in the world. Liberty Media possesses multiple
sports properties, with F1 being the standout and most valuable asset,
contributing over 80% of the company’s annual revenue. Additionally, Liberty
Media’s ventures include Live Nation, an entertainment giant, F1 events, and
the Atlanta Braves, an American professional baseball team, all of which
generate substantial profits. In terms of value, Liberty Media’s assets surpass
those of Stanley Kroenke Sports’ Arsenal Football Club by $300 million and
exceed Fenway Sports Group by $500 million. Furthermore, it is worth noting
that Liberty Media Group is the second-largest shareholder of News Corp. and
the largest shareholder of Time Warner.
