Sports News] The announcement by F1, rejecting Andretti’s application, sparked
intense discussions in the public domain. Recently, Eddie Jordan expressed his
views on this matter during an interview with the media. He strongly criticized
F1’s decision, deeming it “shameful and fundamentally wrong.”
According to Jordan, Andretti’s stature in F1 is significant and his involvement
would contribute to increasing the popularity of the sport. Moreover,
Andretti’s team meets the requirements for admission, making F1’s rejection
illogical. Jordan stated, “In normal circumstances, teams should enter and
teams should exit, just like the promotion and relegation system in the Premier
League. This is a natural competitive logic. However, those 10 teams are
sending a message to the world that this is a sport exclusive to us, which is
fundamentally wrong and contradicts the vision of those who seek fair and
equitable competition. I am truly saddened by their exclusion of
Andretti.”
