[Saba Sports News] According to reports from
Brazilian media, Frederico Chaves Guedes, a former Brazilian international and
current sports director of Brazilian club Fluminense, was recently a victim of
an armed robbery. He was approached by armed robbers in his local area who took
cash from him and stole his car. The incident occurred in the early morning
while Frederico was on his way home. The robbers blocked his car, threatened
him with guns, and eventually forced him out of the vehicle. Fortunately,
Frederico was unharmed during the incident. He reported the robbery to the
local police, who are currently investigating the case. As of now, no arrests
have been made, and the police have not yet obtained any information about the
robbers. Frederico, who is 40 years old, had a successful playing career,
representing clubs such as Feyenoord in the Eredivisie and Lyon in the French
Ligue 1. He later returned to Brazil and played for Fluminense until his retirement.
After retiring, he took on a management role within the club and has been
instrumental in discovering and nurturing future star players.
