[Saba Sports News] With seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton joining the Ferrari F1 team, Carlos Sainz will lose his seat as a Ferrari driver, as his contract with Ferrari will expire at the end of this year. In a recent interview, Sainz revealed that he was not allowed to attend a meeting held by the Ferrari team, which primarily discussed details regarding next year’s car development. Sainz understands that this is standard practice when a driver is about to leave the team. Although Sainz has not confirmed his next move, he recently expressed his intention to sort out his future as soon as possible. Over the past month, Sainz has been in contact with various teams, hoping to secure a driver’s seat for the upcoming year. However, as each team has its own plans, it is challenging for Sainz to provide an immediate response. Yesterday, there were reports that the Sauber F1 Team has offered Sainz a three-year contract and requires him to make a decision before the end of June. Additionally, Williams team principal James Vowles highly praised Sainz’s capabilities on the eve of the F1 Austrian Grand Prix, stating that he is an ideal candidate for any team.
