[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British
media, the Football Association (FA) is conducting an investigation into
whether Sandro Tonali violated relevant rules following his £52 million
transfer to Newcastle in July. The FA is specifically looking into the
possibility that Tonali continued to engage in betting on football matches
within their jurisdiction. If proven, Tonali could face additional penalties.
It is worth noting that Tonali had previously received a 10-month ban for
betting on matches involving Brescia and AC Milan while he played for those
teams. However, the investigation into Tonali’s gambling activities has not
concluded with FIFA’s previous ban.
