[Saba Sports News] After winning two Olympic medals, Dwyane Wade is set to call the Olympics.
Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reported Wednesday that the retired Miami Heat legend will serve as an analyst for NBC during this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris.
Wade will be working on-site for men’s basketball broadcasts alongside play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle.
Wade, 42, retired from the NBA in 2019 after a 16-season career, which included three NBA titles and 13 All-Star appearances. His Olympic career was notable, with a bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Games and a gold medal as a key player on the 2008 “Redeem Team” in Beijing.
Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame last year, Wade has gained prominent media exposure since retiring. Now, he will step in front of the mic for an international audience at the Paris Games beginning in July.
