[Saba Sports News] Disney’s online streaming platform, Disney+, has recently unveiled a trailer for an upcoming documentary about Red Bull driver Sergio Perez, titled “Checo Perez: Don’t Give Up”. This documentary is expected to be released soon. In fact, STAR+ had previously produced a Spanish-language documentary called “CHECO” for Perez in 2022. It consisted of four episodes, highlighting Perez’s journey during the 2022 F1 season, including the races in Singapore, Japan, the United States, and Mexico. However, the documentary was only available to Latin American audiences. It began with a dramatic narration about Perez’s struggles before the Singapore Grand Prix and the criticism he faced from the British media, which sparked outrage among Perez’s fans. After two seasons of training, Perez has made significant progress, achieving second place in this year’s Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Japan races. The Red Bull F1 Team has also extended Perez’s contract for two more years. Perez has become the most successful Mexican F1 driver in history. Recognizing Perez’s growing popularity, Disney decided to produce a new documentary about him, targeting a global audience.
