In the first innings, Jurel’s impressive 90 off 149 balls helped India recover from 177/7 to post 307. He then contributed an unbeaten 39 from 77 deliveries in the second innings, aiding India in reaching their 192-run target, earning him the Player of the Match honor. Subsequently, he shared a touching photo with his parents, proudly displaying his award, and expressed his gratitude on social media, referring to them as the “Real MVPs of my life ❤️.”
His commendable debut performance included a solid 46 off 104 balls in Rajkot, contributing to India’s first-innings total of 445. Besides his batting feats, Jurel has excelled behind the stumps, securing four catches and a stumping across two matches.
