[Saba Sports News] The Delhi Police provided assistance to badminton
player Jagdish HC in retrieving his lost bag from an autorickshaw in the city.
On that day, Jagdish HC had arrived at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on a
tricycle to prepare for his match. Unfortunately, he had left his bag, which
contained medals, certificates, and other important documents, in the tricycle.
Faced with this unfortunate situation, Jagdish HC contacted the police for
help. Upon receiving the report, the Delhi Police promptly initiated their
investigation and meticulously examined the CCTV footage from the numerous
cameras along the autorickshaw’s route. Through their unwavering efforts, the
police were able to locate the bag. Following coordination, all the medals and
documents were safely retrieved and returned to Jagdish HC. Deeply grateful for
the assistance provided by the Delhi Police and the relevant officials, Jagdish
HC expressed his gratitude by touching their feet—one after another. This
gesture, known as chalanspa, is a traditional Indian custom wherein individuals
touch the feet of elders, wise individuals, and respected persons as a sign of
respect and humility.
