[Saba Sports News] Stephen Curry and Carmelo Anthony were recently in Paris for the Olympics, with Curry shining on the court and Anthony cheering from the sidelines. Back in the U.S., the two reunited at Citi Field on Monday for the New York Mets vs. Boston Red Sox game.
Both were sporting Siegelman Stables caps, a brand that collaborated with the Mets on an exclusive collection, which launched that day. Although Curry wore the cap throughout the game, he was cheering for the Red Sox, a team he chose as a kid due to the lack of an MLB team in North Carolina.
Despite Curry’s support, the Red Sox lost 4-1 to the Mets, who are now riding a five-game winning streak. As a Brooklyn native, Anthony likely enjoyed the Mets’ victory, while Curry’s Red Sox continue their struggle to make the playoffs.
