[Saba Sports News] Chris Bosh made his first appearance on a basketball court since 2016 during Goran Dragic’s farewell game on Saturday. Initially, Bosh had no plans to play, but he changed his mind when he saw his former Toronto Raptors teammate, Rasho Nesterovic, step onto the court.
“When I saw Rasho Nesterovic out there, I thought, ‘Ok, I can go up and down a couple of times,'” Bosh said. “Rasho’s great, and seeing him brought back memories of our years in Toronto.” Dragic interrupted the interview to compliment Bosh, who appreciated the kind words and added, “I just wanted to share the court and have some fun.”
Bosh and Nesterovic were teammates on the Raptors from 2006-07 to 2007-08 and again in the 2009-10 season, making the playoffs twice. In the farewell game, Bosh played just under seven minutes, scoring two points from the free throw line, while Nesterovic contributed two points and one rebound. Their team, Team GOGI, won 108-86 over Team LUKA.
