[Saba Sports News] The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t leaving anything to chance as they try to rebound from a rough start to the 2024-25 season.
Ahead of Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the Bucks played a little psychological defense by covering a digital welcome billboard in the visitor’s locker room.
The Cavaliers typically use this display to greet former players and coaches, including Bucks forward Taurean Prince and coaches Dave Joerger, Greg Buckner, and Joe Prunty, all with past Cavs ties.
Despite their precautions, the Bucks narrowly lost 116-114, dropping to 1-6 while the Cavaliers improved to 8-0. Milwaukee, now on a six-game skid, had previously lost to Cleveland in another close finish.
The Bucks, who have committed to their veteran core of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez, are feeling the pressure.
Giannis has openly discussed the team’s recent struggles, sparking trade speculation about his future should the team’s fortunes not improve.
