[Saba Sports News] The summer transfer window is currently in full swing, and Manchester United has also made a player transfer. Mason Greenwood, who was once controversial, has been exported to Marseille for £27 million. The transfer included a floating fee of £5 million. In the upcoming season, Greenwood will be wearing the No. 10 jersey for Marseille and will be playing on the field. Manchester United will receive a fixed transfer fee of 26 million euros from this transaction. However, surprisingly, a British domestic violence protest organization has launched an appeal for Manchester United to donate the proceeds to women’s charities. The organization posted on social media, stating, “Manchester United is a huge global sports club that generates hundreds of millions of dollars each year. It is disheartening that they only engaged with women’s charities at the last minute and did not donate to them or a local charity, especially considering the size of the club.” In February 2023, the British Prosecution Service dropped charges against Greenwood for attempted rape, controlling and coercive behavior, and assault causing bodily harm. However, Manchester United has decided not to include Greenwood in their future plans.
