[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British media, Belgian wives are subject to strict restrictions when it comes to meeting the players, and they have expressed dissatisfaction with this arrangement. It is reported that after the group stage concluded, Belgian players had a short break, and Coach Domenico Tedesco finally allowed them to spend a few hours with their families. Unlike in England, Belgium has implemented stringent regulations on player-family interactions. Players are only allowed to meet their families for 30 minutes. Many of the Belgian players’ wives, especially those of Kevin de Bruyne and Yannick Carrasco, are not pleased with this rule. Furthermore, the Belgian Football Association is highly satisfied with Tedesco’s coaching performance, and he will continue to remain as coach after the European Championship. Since taking over as Belgium’s coach at the beginning of 2023, Tedesco and his team have impressed the Belgian Football Association with their quality and professionalism. After leading Belgium through the European qualifiers with an undefeated record, Tedesco received a contract extension in March of this year, securing his position until the 2026 World Cup.
