[Saba Sports News] Aya Ohori, currently ranked 12th in the world in
women’s singles badminton, has essentially qualified for the Paris Olympics. In
a recent interview with the media, Ohori Aya discussed her criteria for
choosing a life partner. Similar to other world champions, Ohori Aya has
dedicated herself to the path of becoming a champion. Due to her extensive
training in the club, she has had limited opportunities to meet new people outside
of her teammates and coaches. At the age of 28, she remains single, explaining
that her intense training schedule leaves her with little time to pursue
romantic relationships. When asked about her preferred type of partner, Ohori
hesitated before expressing her admiration for black athletes. She shared that
every time she competes against black athletes, she is impressed by their
strength and agility. Ohori believes that marrying a black athlete would result
in future children who possess a combination of excellent genes from both Asian
and black heritage, potentially providing them with advantages in the field of
badminton. Fans were surprised by Ohori Aya’s preference for a partner of
African descent, and many expressed their sadness over the departure of the
most beautiful goddess in Japanese badminton.
