[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Arsenal is exploring ways to upgrade and expand the Emirates Stadium to keep up with the matchday revenues of other competitors. When Arsenal moved from Highbury to the Emirates Stadium in 2006, it was the largest stadium in London, with a capacity of about 60,000. However, its scale, catering, and corporate facilities have since been surpassed by Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium. Currently, Tottenham’s stadium, which has a capacity of 62,850, generates nearly £6 million per match. It is reported that Manchester United is also considering whether to build a new stadium with a capacity of 100,000 or renovate Old Trafford, while West Ham plans to increase the capacity of the London Stadium to 68,000, making it the second-largest stadium in the Premier League. Additionally, Liverpool recently expanded Anfield, which now accommodates 61,276 fans. Reports indicate that Arsenal is now also in discussions about how to enhance stadium capacity and revenue. What do Arsenal fans think about the stadium expansion?
