[Saba Sports News] Some Knicks fans may hope to see Anthony Edwards in New York, but he’s not interested.
On October 13, the Timberwolves beat the Knicks 115-110 at Madison Square Garden, their first matchup since the big trade sending Karl-Anthony Towns to New York.
After the game, Edwards and Towns did a jersey swap, and a courtside fan urged Edwards to “come to New York.”
Edwards responded with a look and joked he wasn’t signing up to be booed for an off night.
With 31 points and eight three-pointers that game, it’s clear why Knicks fans would love him, but Edwards, fresh off consecutive All-Star seasons and a conference finals run, seems content with his Timberwolves—and his $244 million extension through 2028.
