[Saba Sports News] Recently, badminton world champion HAN Cheng Kai
shared the joyful news of his wife’s pregnancy on social media, which has
garnered significant attention from fans. It has been reported that Han
Chengkai and his wife obtained their marriage certificate in January of last
year, and now her pregnancy is quite visible. They will be welcoming their
first child just a year after their marriage, and fans have been sending their
blessings. According to information, Han Chengkai, who celebrated his 26th
birthday last month, stands at 1.83 meters tall and represents China’s Fujian
badminton team as a men’s doubles player. In 2016, Han Chengkai partnered with
Zhou Haodong and secured the men’s doubles championship at the World Youth
Championship, earning a “Grand Slam” title in the youth category. In
2018, the duo defeated the Indonesian pair Kevin Sanjaya SUKAMULJO/Marcus F.
Gideon, who were ranked number one in the world at that time, marking a rapid
rise in their career. Han Chengkai was named the most promising player at the
Badminton World Federation’s annual awards ceremony that year. He also clinched
the championship with the Chinese team in the 2019 Sudirman Cup, which remains
the only world championship title in his sports career. Unfortunately, Han
Chengkai’s prime period was relatively short-lived due to injuries, and in
September 2021, he announced his retirement.
