[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Dani Alves has decided to close his personal social media accounts due to a large number of attacks and criticisms he received since being temporarily released on bail. After obtaining temporary bail of €1 million, Alves began to restore his normal life as quickly as possible. First, the Brazilian returned to social networks: he changed his Instagram profile picture from an all-black image. However, just weeks later, he decided to close his Instagram account but wanted to keep his “X” account. Until this week, the former Barcelona player also decided to close his “X” account. This decision was also prompted by the “hate” comments he received daily on social networks; many accused him of not stopping sharing his luxurious lifestyle and travels despite being sentenced to four and a half years in prison for raping a young woman at a nightclub in Barcelona. It is reported that Alves will continue to enjoy this temporary freedom until appeals from all parties involved in the case are resolved.
