Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, Brazilian football star Dani
Alves is continuing to appeal in order to prove his innocence. He remains
optimistic about repairing his public image and making a comeback to the world
of football. Recently, Alves’ defense lawyer submitted a 200-page evidence
material to the judge, arguing for his client’s acquittal. Currently, the
former Brazil star is hopeful about the ongoing judicial process. He has
expressed confidence to those around him that he can restore his public image
and eventually reconnect with football, even if not as a player. Reports
indicate that Alves’ defense lawyer disagrees with the judge’s verdict. After
reviewing video footage from the dance hall, the defense lawyer stated that the
victim had also shown interest in Alves, and any intimate contact between the
two parties was consensual. Previously, Alves was temporarily released after
posting a bail of 1 million euros. As part of his release conditions, he was
required to surrender his Brazilian and Spanish passports, maintain distance
from and cut off contact with the victim, and appear in court on a weekly
basis.
