[Saba Sports News] In the recently concluded
Eredivisie match, the highly anticipated El Clasico between Ajax and Feyenoord
took place. However, the match turned out to be completely one-sided, with Ajax
securing an impressive 6-0 victory over Feyenoord on their away turf.
Remarkably, Ajax managed to achieve this dominant result with just one shot on
target. This defeat marked the largest margin of defeat in Ajax’s history.
Following the game, a group of disgruntled Ajax fans gathered outside the
stadium, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the players’ buses. Fueled by anger
over the team’s poor performance, they vocally expressed their discontent.
However, the buses carrying the players chose to ignore the fans’ heated
protest and departed without engaging with them. This incident is viewed by the
editor as deeply shameful for Ajax, a long-standing powerhouse in Dutch
football, having won the Eredivisie championship 36 times. The club’s approach
in recent times has involved selling talented players during the transfer
window, while retaining a core group of experienced players and nurturing young
talents through their academy. However, this combination appears to lack the
necessary cohesion, and the newly appointed coach has not yet managed to
provide satisfactory answers to the fans since taking charge. Consequently,
Ajax’s competitiveness in the championship race this season has significantly
diminished. It is hoped that Ajax will learn from this experience and make
improvements in the following season.
