[Saba Sports News] Former Los Angeles Clippers teammates James Harden and Paul George reunited on the court during a recent charity game hosted by Hall of Fame center Yao Ming in China. This marked the first time Harden and George played together publicly since George signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in July. Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler also joined them in the exhibition.
The game featured some memorable moments, including George hitting a contested three-pointer and Harden nailing his signature step-back three, as highlighted by Sixers Wire’s Ky Carlin and House of Highlights.
Harden recently agreed to a two-year, $70 million extension with the Clippers, but after declining a $48.8 million option for the 2024-25 season, George signed a four-year, $212 million contract with the 76ers, where he will team up with MVP Joel Embiid and All-Star Tyrese Maxey.
The Clippers released a statement on parting ways with George, acknowledging that despite months of negotiations, they were unable to reach a deal, and they respect his decision to move on.
