Sports News] The Paris Olympics are set to commence at the end of July this
year. Recently, officials of the Paris Olympics unveiled the highly anticipated
medals for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Inspired by the iconic
landmark of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the designers have created a captivating
fusion of culture and art. The medal design not only pays homage to tradition
but also showcases innovation and contemporary artistic development. One unique
feature of the Paris Olympic medals is that each one contains a piece of
original construction material from the Eiffel Tower embedded in its center.
This inclusion adds a special historical and cultural significance to the medals,
serving as a reinterpretation of a cultural symbol. In the 2024 Paris Olympic
Games, the badminton competitions will be held from July 27 to August 5 at the
Port La Chapelle Arena in northern Paris. The badminton events will consist of
both singles and doubles competitions, which will progress through two stages:
the group stage and the knockout stage. The knockout rounds for singles will
begin with the top 16 players, while the knockout rounds for doubles will
commence from the quarter-finals.
