Jerick Ahanmisi set a personal career high with 24 points and connected closely with Glenn Robinson and Ian Sangalang to help the Magnolias extend their lead to 60-22 at one point, Crushed the Trafimah team.
In the end, Magnolia bounced back from an 88-82 loss to TNT last Thursday to improve to 2-2, while the Trafima remained at the bottom of Group A without a win and 0-4.
“I told them before the game that with our previous losses and setbacks, the most important thing is how we bounce back,” winning coach Chito Victolero said.
“We played very well today, started very strongly and played at our pace. I think we took control of the defence very quickly and maybe this good form infected the whole team, “added Victorero.
