How to replicate or even come close to doing so again on Sunday against the SAN Miguel Brewers is haunting the Gin Kings. The match could be their final semi-final at the Smart Araneta Stadium.
With game time at 7:30 p.m., Ginebra is looking to win consecutive games for the first time in the series and advance to the finals against defending champion TNT.
Ginebra took a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series with a 121-92 victory on Friday. Tim Cone’s team shot 54.8 percent from the field, dived out 31 assists and committed just six turnovers.
“Thirty-one assists to six turnovers, that’s really, really good. You can’t do it every night, but tonight we did, “Cohen said after the game. In this game, the Ginebla Kings steamrolled the mighty SAN Miguel Beer team by as many as 31 points.
