The 6-foot-4 forward helped the Magnolia Hotshots advance to the quarterfinals in the PBA Governors’ Cup, He scored a career-high 30 points against NorthPort Batang Pier last weekend to lead the team to a 110-94 rout.
Dionisio’s performance was particularly impressive, as he made 9 of 11 from beyond the arc, a new Magnolia record, and 10 of 11 from the field for an amazing accuracy. The previous record for 3-pointers was held by former Purefoods point guard Boyet Fernandez, who made eight 3-pointers in a game during the 2001 season.
Mr. Dionisio, who is from Saint Clare College, said constant practice and extra shooting drills have helped him maintain consistency in his game.
