[Saba Sports News] Although Tacko Fall is no longer in the NBA, the Senegalese center still garners attention on social media for his impressive basketball performances. Currently playing for the Nanjing Tongxi Monkey Kings in the Chinese Basketball Association, Fall recently made headlines for an aggressive dunk that went viral. This highlight occurred in a game against the Shanghai Sharks at Shanghai Indoor Stadium in China.
During a key moment, Monkey Kings’ guard Wei Lin passed to Fall, who was moving towards the basket. Terry Li, a 6’3″ guard from Shanghai, tried to block the 7’6″ Fall’s dunk, a bold but unsuccessful attempt. Despite his height disadvantage, Li’s effort to stop Fall is commendable, as taller players might have chosen not to confront Fall.
In the game, Fall racked up 12 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 blocks. However, his efforts couldn’t avert a 98-95 loss to the Sharks. So far this season with Nanjing, Fall has averaged 8.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks over 12 games.
Previously, Fall had a three-season stint in the NBA, playing for the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, where he averaged 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds across 37 games.
