[Saba Sports News] The result of recently-concluded Cape Town Test between India and South Africa caused a major shake-up in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 points table.
As India won the match by seven wickets, they moved to the numero uno spot in the rankings with 26 points and 54.16 percentage points after playing four Tests in the ongoing cycle.
South Africa now occupy the second position with 12 points and 50 percentage points, having won and lost one Test apiece.
New Zealand, Australia and Bangladesh are next in line with each of these sides maintaining 50 percentage points.
Pakistan, West Indies, England and Sri Lanka make the rest of the table in the same order. Pakistan have 45.83 percentage points. The West Indies and England have 16.67 and 15 percentage points respectively. Sri Lanka have not played a Test match yet.
