Sports News] According to reports from British media, Arsenal will don an
all-white uniform in their FA Cup match against Liverpool. This marks the first
time in the club’s 138-year history that they will wear such a kit. It is
reported that Arsenal’s decision to wear an all-white jersey is part of their
campaign against knife crime and youth violence. This will be the first time
the Gunners wear all-white in a home game. The all-white team jersey will not
be available for purchase, but a special community T-shirt will be sold for
£30, with the proceeds going to the club’s charity partners in sports. However,
Arsenal’s performance in all-white kits has been mixed in the past two seasons.
In January 2022, they suffered a 0-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the third
round of the FA Cup while wearing all-white. On the other hand, in the same
stage last year, they emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Oxford United. The
outcome for Arsenal this time remains to be seen.
