[Saba Sports News] Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni has kickstarted his training for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
Dhoni underwent a knee surgery after the IPL finished last year. There was a layer of a dark clouds over his IPL future as doubts hovered around his fitness.
However, after months of rehabilitation, the legendary India cricketer has started his batting practice, confirming his return.
MS Dhoni has started practicing for IPL 2024.

IPL 2023 was expected to be Dhoni’s last. Although, after CSK lifted the trophy, Dhoni hinted that he will come back one final time with IPL 2024 most likely being his swansong.
Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2020 but continued to represent CSK. In the IPL, he has scored 5,082 runs in 250 matches at an average of 38.79 and strike-rate of 135.92.
He is the joint-most succesful IPL captain, leading the Chennai-based franchise to as many as five titles.
As reported by ANI, IPL 2024 will kick off on March 22.
