[Saba Sports News] Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis was unexpectedly the victim of a burglary this week.
In a post on his X page on Sunday, Portis disclosed that his home was broken into on Saturday night while he was playing at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“Milwaukee is my home,” Portis wrote. “Last night, while I was at work, my home was burglarized, and many of my prized possessions were stolen. If you have any tips or info, please send them to [email protected]. Rewards for info leading to recovery or arrests!”
Portis shared video footage of the suspects. The 29-year-old, now in his fifth season with the Bucks, is a fan favorite and was instrumental in the team’s 2021 NBA championship win. This makes the burglary especially surprising.
Sadly, incidents where professional athletes’ homes are targeted during games are not uncommon. Last year, similar break-ins happened to other well-known athletes on the West Coast.
