[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, official Spanish institutions are investigating racist incidents at Real Madrid’s home ground. It is reported that inspector Angel Gabilondo has filed a lawsuit with the National Commission against Violence in Sports (CSD), which opposes violence, racism, xenophobia, and intolerable behavior in sports, requesting relevant information regarding the situation after Barcelona players Lamine Yamal, Ansu Fati, and Raphinha Ferreira faced racist abuse during last Saturday’s El Clasico at the Bernabeu. In May 2023, after receiving multiple complaints, the inspector had previously filed a lawsuit regarding racist abuse directed at Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior at Valencia’s Mestalla Stadium. Last Sunday, CSD issued a statement strongly condemning the racist incidents that occurred at the Bernabeu stadium and mentioned the abuse suffered by Barcelona players. It is reported that Real Madrid has also begun investigating the involved fans, and Vinicius has spoken out against the insults directed at Barcelona players.
