[Saba Sports News] JOE Devance’s time on the floor in Barangay Ginebra may have been only 10 to 15 minutes, but that time will undoubtedly play a big part in the upcoming PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) Governor’s Cup finals, especially in a high-pressure playing environment.

With the 42-year-old power forward suffering a knee bruise in the semifinals against San Miguel, Coach Tim Cone is optimistic that Devans will be back for the later part of the finals against TNT.
With just a week to go before the first match of the final, scheduled for Sunday at the Ynares Centre in Antipolo, Cohen said he did not expect DeVance to return for the opening match.
“He has a week to recover. He still uses crutches and has his knee in a brace. So can he take the brace off in a week and be ready to play? Not very likely, “Cohen said of DeVance. “But at some point in the series, he could come back.”
