[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Mohammed Kudus has asked his agent to reach out to Liverpool. It is reported that Kudus is increasingly frustrated with West Ham United’s lack of progress this season and the club’s failure to sign high-quality players over the summer, prompting him to request his agent to explore Liverpool’s interest in signing him. Notably, Liverpool assistant coach Johnny Heitinga has worked with Kudus at Ajax and West Ham, and their close relationship may aid Liverpool in pursuing Kudus. It is said that Arne Slot is closely monitoring Kudus’s situation; although formal negotiations between the two clubs have not yet begun, insiders reveal that if Mohamed Salah or Luis Díaz were to leave, Kudus could become a replacement and has entered Slot’s shortlist. Kudus joined West Ham last summer and has made 55 appearances for the team, contributing 16 goals and 7 assists. The transfer fee for the 24-year-old Ghanaian international is expected to be substantial, with a release clause of £85 million effective next summer.
