[Saba Sports News] Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo, who was dropped by AlphaTauri, updated his social media with a video of him singing along to Neck Deep’s “In Bloom” while driving with friends, showing he is enjoying a carefree retirement life. Recently, RacingNews365 conducted a poll showing that fans strongly support Ricciardo’s return to F1. The poll included various options such as retirement, Australian Supercars, NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula E, TV commentator, or returning to F1. Out of 5,345 votes cast, no option received an absolute majority; however, many fans clearly expressed their feelings. About 30.25% of votes supported Ricciardo’s “return to F1”; TV commentator came in second with 23.05%; 16.35% believed he would soon appear in Australian Supercars; only 12.22% thought Ricciardo would fully retire. Historical data shows that only nine drivers have more race starts than Ricciardo in F1 history, and his number of wins ranks him among the “top 40” historically. In fact, since entering the hybrid era in 2014, only five drivers have more wins than Ricciardo. This poll indicates that Ricciardo remains a significant draw in F1.
