[Saba Sports News] According to French media reports, the French Professional Football League (LFP) Appeals Committee is set to make a ruling on Kylian Mbappe’s salary dispute case this Friday local time. If all goes as expected, the final ruling will be in favor of Mbappe. Reports indicate that Mbappe is demanding €55 million in unpaid wages and other bonuses from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which would mark another victory for him. In September of this year, after negotiations failed to yield results, the LFP ordered PSG to pay Mbappe his owed amounts. However, PSG subsequently filed an appeal. The root of the conflict between both parties lies in the nature of an agreement reached between the player and PSG management in mid-August 2023. At that time, due to his refusal to renew his contract with PSG, the star was excluded from the team. Renewing his contract could have ensured that the club received a transfer fee when Mbappe moved freely to Real Madrid. In that agreement, the player promised to forfeit €55 million in bonuses if he left freely at the end of the season. However, the validity of this agreement has been questioned by Mbappe’s side, even though he publicly mentioned it in front of reporters in January this year.
