[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford’s plan to build his dream home on a golf course seems to be facing difficulties. Four years ago, Rashford spent £1.5 million to purchase a 63-acre plot of land on the golf course and planned to demolish the existing golf club to build a mansion with five bedrooms, a swimming pool, a game room, and a leisure area. However, locals have revealed to the media that the construction has been intermittent and the site is often deserted. This has raised concerns that the project may become a “money pit,” which even Rashford, who earns £350,000 per week, might struggle to sustain. An insider disclosed: “This is Rashford’s dream project. He was really excited at first. However, although the building seems completed from the outside, there is still much work to be done inside. The garden needs complete landscaping, and maintaining the former golf course is estimated to cost at least £150,000 per year. People are worried that Rashford has taken on too much at once and is now in a dilemma.” As part of a 25-year gardening maintenance plan, Rashford previously agreed to mow the lawn 14 times a year and is also responsible for caring for the surrounding woodland to create grassland for wildlife.
