[Saba Sports News] The Badminton Association of Malaysia restructured its coaching staff earlier this month, with former women’s doubles head coach Hoon Thien How being reassigned to the youth team to oversee men’s doubles. The vacant position for the national women’s doubles coach had not been announced for some time. Yesterday, the Badminton Association of Malaysia finally announced that Rosman A Razak, who previously coached the national team for about 20 years and is currently a freelance doubles coach, has officially been appointed as the head coach for the national women’s doubles team. In response, Rosman expressed his honor in returning to the Badminton Association of Malaysia and his excitement in accepting this challenge. He pointed out the great potential of Malaysia’s women’s doubles and looks forward to building on recent progress. Rexy Mainaky, the director of coaching at the Badminton Association of Malaysia, welcomed Rosman’s return to the coaching team, stating that his experience with the national team is invaluable and believes that under his leadership, Malaysia’s women’s doubles will reach new heights. After taking office, Rosman will collaborate with Rexy, national team coach Ching Kai Feng, and youth team coach Amelia Anscelly to strengthen Malaysia’s women’s doubles strength.
