[Saba Sports News] Malaysian badminton player Ng Qi Xuan suffered a sudden injury during a match last week. Due to insufficient personal funds, she posted on her personal Instagram to raise money for her surgery. Ng Qi Xuan stated that her MRI results showed a torn anterior cruciate ligament, torn medial collateral ligament, torn posterior cruciate ligament, relaxed lateral collateral ligament, and a slight stress fracture. She was very shocked by the results, as this was her first encounter with such a serious injury. Unfortunately, since these injuries are not covered by her insurance, she needs approximately 25,000 to 35,000 Malaysian Ringgit for the surgery. Ng Qi Xuan revealed that her parents are retired, and due to her severe knee injury, she can no longer work as a badminton coach and currently has no income. Therefore, she sincerely requests help from fans. In her post, Ng Qi Xuan also thanked the Badminton Association of Malaysia, Dato Kenny Goh, and her assistant Mohd Taupik Haji, noting that they have been accompanying her in the hospital and provided opportunities for post-surgery rehabilitation at ABM.
