[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, the English Football Association has contacted Wolves head coach Gary O’Neil regarding his post-match comments and requested an explanation. Last weekend in the Premier League, Wolves lost 1-2 at home to Manchester City, and there was some controversy over City’s last-minute goal. O’Neil’s post-match comments seemed to suggest that referees favor big clubs. After the match, O’Neil stated: “No one can intentionally do something detrimental to Wolves; we need to clarify this. When making decisions, is there a subconscious bias towards Manchester City rather than Wolves? Because if I had to provoke someone on the street between a small guy and a big guy, I would choose the small guy. It’s not that I’m targeting the small guy, but you understand what I mean? Some things are definitely not intentional; I know they are 100% honest and doing their best to do their job; I completely respect them. But maybe something could guide their judgment in very tense moments.” What do fans think about this?
