[Saba Sports News] With only a few races left in this F1 season, McLaren and Red Bull are both on a strong momentum in the standings, making the competition for points extremely fierce, with one of them likely to emerge as champion. However, recent media reports have revealed shocking news that both McLaren and Red Bull cars have been accused of illegal designs. It is reported that McLaren’s car was first targeted due to its rear wing being said to deform at high speeds, thereby reducing drag and increasing straight-line speed; ultimately, the FIA required McLaren to modify their rear wing design. On the other hand, Red Bull has been accused of using a device to alter the height of front components, raising the ground clearance of the front lip. However, Red Bull denied any wrongdoing and insisted that this device cannot be adjusted after the car is fully assembled. It is believed that the FIA should take strict investigation and regulatory measures regarding such issues to ensure fairness in competition.
