[Saba Sports News] According to Motorsport, several F1 teams have discussed with the FIA over the past few weeks, suspecting that Red Bull Racing may have found a “clever” way to adjust the ground clearance of the T-tray area of their car’s floor, using a lower height during qualifying and a higher height during the race to enhance performance. However, regulations strictly prohibit modifying aerodynamic settings between qualifying and the race except for the front wing of the car. Red Bull Racing has launched a public relations campaign regarding this matter, admitting that their car does indeed have an adjustable T-tray height device but insisting that it cannot be operated once the car is assembled, thus there is no violation. Red Bull also stated that this component was mentioned in previous communications with the FIA and that they have reached an agreement on future development plans. Although there is currently no evidence that Red Bull has used this method, the FIA has decided to take corresponding measures starting from the US Grand Prix, including adjusting inspection procedures.
