[Saba Sports News] The F1 Grand Prix will reignite this weekend at the Austin circuit in the United States. Excitingly, Red Bull Racing has announced that they will bring a newly upgraded chassis this weekend, meaning they will compete head-to-head with their biggest rival, McLaren. Red Bull had a strong lead at the start of the season but was gradually caught up and surpassed by Mercedes and McLaren. Notably, McLaren has shown incredible speed despite controversy over their rear wing; in the last race at the Singapore Grand Prix, Lando Norris won with a lead of over 20 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen. Currently, Verstappen leads Norris by 52 points in the drivers’ standings, while Red Bull has fallen behind McLaren in the constructors’ standings. This weekend’s upgrade will be Red Bull’s last effort to compete for the championship. If Verstappen can win, he will maintain his lead in the drivers’ standings and lay a foundation for competing for the world championship. The team can also narrow the gap with McLaren in the constructors’ standings and continue to remain competitive for the overall championship.
