[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, the Roma South Stand fan organization announced that protests will continue during the next home match against Inter in Serie A. Roma spent over 100 million euros on new signings this summer, but their performance this season has not been ideal, leading to the dismissal of former head coach Daniele De Rossi. This has caused dissatisfaction among Roma fans towards club president Friedkin, who has already faced multiple protests at Roma’s home ground. This Monday, the Roma South Stand fan organization issued another announcement stating that during this weekend’s Serie A match against Inter Milan, fans in the South Stand will refuse to enter the stadium for the first 15 minutes as a further protest against the club’s management. The announcement stated: “In the match between Roma and Inter, South Stand fans will refuse entry for the first 15 minutes to further protest against the club’s management. The reason is their lack of understanding of Roma’s reality, history, and traditional values of Roma fans; they have defamed our flag, altered our crest, and created chaos in various aspects. The chosen individuals are not sufficient to represent Roma. Leading Roma cannot be achieved merely by spending money. It is necessary to create and represent a club that every Roma player can be proud of. We also invite fans from other stands to refuse entry for the first 15 minutes before the match. Friedkin family, we demand a change in direction!”
