Guiao said there was no definite timetable for whether or not Thionson would be available for the first meeting of the season. The 6-foot-5 rookie, the team’s seventh-overall pick in the recent draft, has been out with a calf strain since the quarterfinal against Magnolia.
He has missed multiple games in a row, including the team’s narrow 110-109 win over TNT Tropang Giga in Game 3 on Sunday at Dasmarinas City Arena.
“I don’t know when, we really don’t know,” Guiao replied when asked about the timing of his return.
