[Saba Sports News] Justin Brownlee performed well on both sides of the ball to lead Barangay Ginebra to a 99-94 win over San Miguel Beer to regain the lead in the semi-finals of the PBA Governor’s Cup.
Brownlee finished with 30 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five blocks, earning high praise from coach Tim Cone, who called him a key figure in the team’s ability to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

“We had some uncertain moments in the third quarter, especially at the beginning of the second half,” Cohen said.
“But thanks to him (Brownlee) we came back and won the game because he played well,” added Cohen.
Also, Japeth Aguilar chipped in 22 points and eight rebounds, Maverick Ahanmisi added 15 points and 11 rebounds, Stephen Holt added 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. RJ Abarrientos and Scottie Thompson, led by Brownlee, also contributed to the win, helping Kkinibullah bounce back from a 125-131 overtime loss in Game 2.
