[Saba Sports News] Recently, the Turin prosecutor’s office announced that Juventus owner John Elkann is suspected of tax fraud, with approximately €74.8 million in assets under his name being temporarily seized. On Friday local time, the Turin prosecutor’s office released a statement saying: “As part of criminal proceedings against John Elkann, Lapo Elkann, Ginewara Elkann, as well as Gianluca Ferrero and Robert Von Groningen, a preliminary investigation judge issued a preventive seizure order at this office’s request to seize financial assets as well as movable and immovable property belonging to these individuals, with a total value equivalent to approximately €74.8 million.” John Elkann is accused of “tax fraud” and “fraud damaging national interests,” along with his two brothers and family accountant Ferrero, who currently also serves as president of Juventus. Additionally, Elkann’s mother Margarita Agnelli is under further investigation.
